At Syvo Mediator, we hold your privacy in high regard, recognizing the significance of the information you confide in us. This Privacy Policy outlines our practices concerning the data we gather from you when you engage with our service via a Syvo Retail website.
This policy delineates the categories of information we collect while you utilize our service as specified on this website, elucidating how we utilize this information, the duration for which we retain it, and the parties with whom we share it. It also elucidates your rights and choices concerning this information. By utilizing our service, you provide your consent for us to collect and employ your information in accordance with the terms delineated in this Privacy Policy.
Сertain capitalized terms used in this Privacy Policy shall carry the following meanings:
Every Syvo Retail website has a dedicated page within its admin panel, accessible at [Link to Syvo Retail domain]admin/settings/advanced/3-party-integration/instagram, where the User can connect an Instagram profile.
When the User clicks 'Connect,' the Syvo Retail website initiates a request to Syvo Mediator Service to acquire an Instagram API access token.
Syvo Mediator manages the authorization process by presenting an authorization window to the User. In this window, the User logs in and grants Syvo Mediator the necessary permissions to access their Instagram profile media.
Once authorized, Syvo Mediator passes the obtained access token back to the Syvo Retail website.
The Syvo Retail website utilizes this access token to retrieve and store profile media from the connected Instagram account. This process of requesting Instagram media occurs periodically, following a predefined schedule, typically every 8 hours. Syvo Mediator does not store any information from the User Instagram profile.
If the User on the Syvo Retail website wishes to disconnect Instagram from the website, they can simply click 'Disconnect.' This action results in the deletion of the access token, and consequently, the removal of Instagram images from the site.
We do not currently employ any technology that enables us to track your online activities over time and across third-party web sites, nor do we plan on doing so in the future. Because we do not employ tracking technology, we offer no response to Do-Not-Track requests transmitted by Web browsers.
We take data security seriously and implement measures to protect your information. However, please be aware that data transmission over the internet is not entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information shared through the Instagram API.
If you have any questions or concerns about our privacy practices or this Privacy Policy, please contact us at info@syvo.com.
We reserve the right to update and modify this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. We encourage you to review this policy periodically for any updates.
By using our website and connecting your Instagram profile, you agree to the terms outlined in this Privacy Policy.
